Pensionssystemet underskott var 261 MDSEK under år 2008

Pensionssystemets resultat för 2008 var minus 261 miljarder. Överskottet i inkomstpensionssystemet har förbytts i ett underskott på 243 miljarder. Balanstalet sjunker därmed för första gången under 1,0000.

Pensionssystemets ställning framgår av Orange rapport - Pensionssystemets årsredovisning, som presenteras i dag.

Balanstalet som påverkar hur mycket pensionerna och pensionsbehållningarna indexeras år 2010 är 0,9672. Vid ett balanstal under 1,0000 aktiveras balanseringen och pensionerna kan inte räknas upp med genomsnittsinkomsternas utveckling. Det negativa resultatet för 2008 förklaras huvudsakligen av minskningen i AP-fondernas tillgångar till följd av de kraftiga kursfallen på världens aktiebörser. Sammanlagt har buffertfonderna minskat med 191 miljarder kronor.

Men det negativa resultatet beror också på att pensionsskulden har ökat i snabbare takt än avgiftstillgången. Anledningen är att den så kallade omsättningstiden, det vill säga den tid en krona finns i systemet, blivit kortare och därmed minskat avgiftstillgången.
