30 % färre nybyggda lägenheter under år 2009

Under 2009 påbörjades byggandet av 15 250 lägenheter. Det innebär en minskning med 30 procent jämfört med samma period 2008 då 21 900 lägenheter började byggas.

Fördelningen mellan småhus och flerbostadshus under perioden var:
2009 - 6 350 lägenheter i småhus och 8 900 i flerbostadshus
2008 - 10 184 lägenheter i småhus och 11 716 i flerbostadshus

För att underlätta jämförelsen mellan åren är siffrorna för 2009 uppräknade med 6 procent, vilket är den genomsnittliga eftersläpningen i rapporteringen de senaste åren.

Minskningen gäller nästan hela landet
Antalet påbörjade byggnationer har minskat kraftigt i nästan alla län. Störst minskning var det i Västerbottens och Västernorrlands län.

Tre län har dock ökat byggandet jämfört med 2008 nämligen Värmlands, Jämtlands samt Norrbottens län. Norrbottens län visar en kraftig ökning.
