Kraftigt ökad försäljning av bärbara datorer, Q1 2008

Försäljningen av persondatorer (PC + Mac) i Sverige under första kvartalet 2008 ökade +10% till 447.375 datorer i jämförelse med motsvarande period föregående år. Ökningen beror främst på en stark ökning inom området Bärbara datorer där ökningen var 33%. För helåret 2008 väntas 2 miljoner datorer säljas motsvarande en ökning med 7% jämfört med år 2007.

Försäljningen av persondatorer (PC + Mac) i Sverige under första kvartalet 2008 ökade +10% till 447.375 datorer i jämförelse med motsvarande period föregående år. Ökningen beror främst på en stark ökning inom området Bärbara datorer.

Bärbara datorer (Notebooks) fortsätter att öka starkt, +33% under perioden. Totalt såldes 254.255 enheter under perioden. Försäljningen av bärbara datorer till företag ökade mest, särskilt datorer med inbyggt stöd för mobilt bredband (Turbo-3G).

Servers ökade +23% till 20.700 enheter. En del större Linux-affärer har genomförts under perioden.  Andelen Linux blev därmed rekordhög med ca 1/3 av totala marknaden. Andelen väntas dock minska under nästa period. Hewlett-Packard (HP) fortsätter att dominera segmentet. Windows Server 2008 lanserades under perioden.
