TCO vill subventionera hushållsnära tjänster

För verklig jämställdhet mellan män och kvinnor krävs att samhället subventionerar hushållsnära tjänster för barnfamiljer. En subventionering av tjänsterna med upp till 90 procent i familjer där bägge föräldrarna arbetar skulle ge två till tre timmars hushållshjälp för cirka 150 kronor i veckan, skriver Kerstin Olsson och Ulrika Hagström, TCO på Dagens Nyheters debattsida.


Förslaget ingår i TCOs förnyelse av jämställdhetsprogrammet där en avlastning av hemarbetet från kvinnorna står högt på listan. Trots jämställdhetsreformer fortsätter arbetsfördelningen i hemmet att missgynna kvinnorna. En samhällssubventionering av hushållsnära tjänster till yrkesarbetande familjer med barn skulle därmed bli en parallell till samhällets subventionering av barnomsorgen, skriver TCOs utredare Ulrika Hagström och presschefen Kerstin Olsson.
