48 % fler nybyggda lägenheter år 2010 jämfört med 2009

Under 2010 påbörjades byggandet av 24 900 lägenheter. Det innebär en ökning med 48 procent jämfört med året innan då 16 805 lägenheter började byggas. Dock var påbörjandet under 2009 det lägsta på tio år.

Antalet påbörjade lägenheter i småhus ökade med 3 procent till 7 850 lägenheter, medan påbörjandet i flerbostadshus ökade med 85 procent till 17 050. Av dessa utgör knappt hälften - 48 procent - hyresrätter, vilket kan jämföras med nästan två tredjedelar - 65 procent året innan.

Fördelningen mellan småhus och flerbostadshus under perioden är:

2010: 7 850 lägenheter i småhus och 17 050 i flerbostadshus
2009: 7 607 lägenheter i småhus och 9 198 i flerbostadshus

För att underlätta jämförelsen mellan åren är siffrorna för 2010 uppräknade med 7 procent, vilket är den genomsnittliga eftersläpningen i rapporteringen de senaste åren.

Skåne i framkanten för ägarlägenheter
Ägarlägenheter är en ny upplåtelseform i Sverige sedan maj 2009. Totalt har det påbörjats knappt 290 ägarlägenheter med denna upplåtelseform.186 av dessa, nästan två tredjedelar, återfinns i Skåne.
