Under augusti har världens börser haft en svag utveckling. De flesta marknader har backat tillbaka några procent samtidigt som Stockholmsbörsen rört sig i sidled. På kreditmarknaden har de långa räntorna fortsatt att stiga, till nackdel för långa ränte- och obligationsfonder. Bland Nordnet Banks privatkunder märks en försiktig optimism.
Fondköpen dominerar fortfarande, men antalet kunder som gjort fondaffärer under månaden är cirka 15 procent läger än snittet för 2013. Storleken på snittaffären är samtidigt något högre. Största fondköpen finner vi i Sverigefonder, där även småbolagsfonderna stigit i populäritet. På säljsidan dominerar tillväxtmarknadsfonderna.
- Flera av börserna i BRIC-länderna har haft en usel utveckling hittills i år och nu syns en tydlig fondflykt. Spararna verkar ha tröttnat på de klassiska tillväxtmarknaderna och säljer. Detta kan vara en miss, eftersom just dessa marknader nu förefaller allt mer attraktiva när aktierna blivit allt billigare jämfört med övriga världen, säger Günther Mårder, sparekonom på Nordnet Bank.
- Thailandfonderna har rasat kraftigt i värde de senaste tre månaderna och trots att det bara finns ett fåtal fonder inom denna kategori så tillhör två av dessa de mest sålda under månaden. Detta är mycket ovanligt, men vittnar samtidigt om en kompakt oro för den Thailändska börsen bland svenska fondsparare, säger Mårder.
- Spararnas verkar just nu tycka att hemma är bäst eftersom Sverigefonder dominerar på köpsidan. Stockholmsbörsen har gått starkt hittills i år, men bankerna som lokomotiv. Nu köper allt fler fondsparare småbolagsfonder i förhoppning om att dessa bolag ska följa efter i andra vågen, avslutar Mårder.
