KO drar Vin & Sprit inför domstol

Vin & Sprit AB vägrar rätta sig efter Konsumentombudsmannens förbud. Därför stämmer nu KO bolaget i Marknadsdomstolen. Enligt KO ägnar sig Vin & Sprit åt otillbörlig marknadsföring av alkoholdrycker.


I våras utfärdade Konsumentombudsmannen ett så kallat förbudsföreläggande mot V&S för att bolaget marknadsfört starkspriten Vodka Explorer på en restaurang genom att bland annat ha delat ut luvor till gästerna.

Enligt förbudsföreläggandet stred jippot mot alkohollagens huvudregel om att reklam för alkohol ska vara måttfull. Syftet med föreläggandet var att förbjuda V&S att fortsätta med denna typ av marknadsföring.

Men sedan V&S vägrat godkänna föreläggandet tvingas nu KO dra bolaget inför Marknadsdomstolen.

Enligt alkohollagens förarbeten ska alkoholreklam vara saklig och inriktad på att informera om varan så att konsumenterna ges möjlighet till genomtänkta val.

- En tomteluva med reklam för Explorer ger knappast någon som helst produktinformation, säger Agneta Broberg, ställföreträdande Konsumentombudsman.

Målet handlar även om en stor reklamskylt för spritmärket som inte heller den når upp till alkohollagens krav på måttfullhet.
