I maj sjönk de monetära finansinstitutens (MFI:s) utlåningsräntor till hushåll. Den genomsnittliga räntan på hushållens nya låneavtal tagna hos MFI i maj var 2,27 procent. Det är en nedgång från 2,28 i april. Räntorna har gått ned för lån med räntebindningstid på upp till 1 år samt över 5 år.

Barometerindikatorn, som sammanfattar företagens och hushållens syn på det ekonomiska läget, steg till 79,4 i juni från 77,6 i maj. Det är andra månaden i rad som barometerindikatorn ökar samtidigt som samtliga sektorer bidrar positivt till uppgången. Trots uppgången visar nivån på barometerindikatorn att stämningsläget bland företag och hushåll fortfarande är betydligt svagare än normalt.
